We’re so pleased to present our eighteenth issue, a collection of poems around the theme of subways, subtext, undercurrents and all that lives underneath. It features the work of twenty-three poets and one pinhole photographer, as well as a chapbook love letter. We’re also excited to highlight that, as a result of one of the Pinhole Poetry Winter Workshop Series on erasure as a form, we have two poets who read between the lines of a provided text (Letters of Georgia O’Keefe and Alfred Stieglitz) so differently that we ended up with two unique and beautiful interpretations. As always, it’s my great honour to highlight so many talented poets and artists– many thanks to all the contributors! We hope this issue is a little buried treasure for your reading pleasure this summer! /EB
reading note: As some of these poems feature long lines, we suggest reading the issue on a tablet or computer. In a pinch, orient your phone to landscape mode to preserve the poet’s lines.
