ARTIST STATEMENT / The underwater world for me has a connection with a silent dark room covered in red light. It is like going back into the womb.

These photos are all made with a tin can pinhole camera, which I first filled with water and then submerged. Exposure time was 20 seconds. Inside the can was a piece of paper coated with a light-sensitive emulsion.
