LAURA ELLENBERGER

Man on the Marsh, Suffolk UK 2015 – scanned latent image
on black +white photographic resin coated paper, 10 day exposure.
Street Performer, Seville Spain 2016. 6 minute exposure on expired fibre paper.
The garden of Babylon in the bedroom at Smitswinkel Bay, 2017 The Cape, South Africa.
10 + 5 minute pinhole double exposure on resin paper negative.

Artist Statement / The ephemeral drives my curiosity- a space felt not only seen. By making long exposures onto photographic paper, I capture trace above detail – suggestions of what lies beyond the seen. The uncertainty is open to interpretation. I do this through time-based exposures in found environments.
